Lewis Carroll's view on Accounts Receivable Management

Lewis Carroll was right on the money (so to speak).  In The Looking Glass he wrote ".....it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that! "

Over the years this quote has been paraphrased to say "You must run fast to stay in one place."   I would like to think that Mr. Carroll would have approved the shortening of his quote in this day and age.

If Alice's creator were in Accounts Receivable Management, he wouldn't accept the status quo. If he did, his systems would be antiquated which would cascade down to his results and team morale.  Lewis Carroll wouldn't be running fast and staying in one place.....he'd be on the treadmill...going backwards.

I would like to think that  Mr. Carroll wouldn't  let his staff work with a system behind the times.  He'd be on the cutting edge with Credit & Collections Software.  No one on his team would work over time...like himself.  The system would drive the team....get the results...lower the DSO...be heroic...be happy...go home on time to have dinner with their loved ones.  Happiness !

Achieve Happiness in 2011 !
